Mother’s Day Tea was held on May 10th. The tables were decorated with balloons, vintage Victorian tea cups, tea pots and fans to set the mood. There was a variety of teas to choose from. There were blueberry scones, jam-filled shortbread cookies and Chef Abel’s to die for lemon bars! The Cottages have decided to make the lemon bar our signature dessert.
What really made this special was to hear one of our mothers say, “This is the best Mother’s Day I’ve ever had”. Each mother received a fan and a special Mother’s Day memento commemorating how special they are.
