Chef Abel Guzman calls his role as Dining Services Director at The Cottages of Carmel a privilege, as he loves showing his care for the residents through his culinary talents. His latest creation is adding a new health-minded spin to an old favorite – Shrimp and Crab Louie. Guzman added quinoa to the list of ingredients for its known high fiber and protein rich benefits. All with great taste in mind of course, just another reason the residents at the community continually refer to his cooking as “five-star.”
